Google has released the Chrome 105 update for their web browser. More precisely, the complete build of this release is 105.0.5195.54.
This update does not include any new features visible to the naked eye, and nor has Google mentioned any in the release notes. However, it does include some new features for the developers and APIs, which will eventually impact the user experience.
This Chrome update addresses a total of 24 security vulnerabilities, out of which 1 is deemed critical and 8 are of high importance.

Improvements in Chrome 105
Windows Controls for Web Apps
With this update, developers will now be able to customize the web applications to add controls to the title bar, as well as other elements, such as search bars. Google has been working on making the web app experience as if they were native apps. Chrome 105 enhances that ability.
This new feature will open doors for developers to add many new things directly to the title bar. They can norally anything they can think of which can fit in the dead space inside the title bar.
Sanitizer API
Previously, the web applications health with untrusted strings using libraries, which could be tricky, and also added a small maintenance burden on the app.
Google has now introduced the Sanitizer API, which is designed with safety in mind and is entirely customizable. it allows you to specify the different configuration options, like dropping or allowing certain elements.
Custom In-Page Search UI
Users often use the in-page search feature in Chrome by pressing the CTRL + F shortcut keys. However, they were all presented with the same old boring search box and UI.
Now, the developers can customize the UI and the way the text is highlighted on web applications natively, which could previously only be achieved through additional extensions, which added a minor load on the website itself.
Update to Chrome 105

Launch Google Chrome and click on the ellipses (3 dots) in the top-right corner of the browser. Then, expand Help, and click About Google Chrome.
About Google Chrome -
As soon as the About page opens, the browser will start searching for an update and then automatically download it. Once it is ready to install, you will be presented with a Relaunch button. Click Relaunch.
Note: The browser closes when you click Relaunch and then reopens, restoring all closed tabs.
Relaunch Chrome
The browser will now close and reopen. Once it does, you can navigate to the About Google Chrome page again and confirm that it has indeed been updated to version 105.

Install Google Chrome 105
Installing the Chrome browser on a Windows PC is as easy as downloading them. The process may vary for different platforms.
Download the file from the links above and then double-click it to execute. The rest of the process is pretty much automatic. The setup will download the required files (if the web installer was downloaded), install them for you and the browser will launch itself as soon as it is installed successfully.
