Intel has now released Arc & Iris Xe WHQL graphics driver 31.0.101.4644 which includes support for new gaming titles and makes a few fixes in the existing ones. But what these, it also still includes a few known issues.
The significant highlight of this release is that it is no longer a Beta release – instead, Intel has now published a stable version after releasing Beta versions for some time now.

Performance improvements
The following improvements have been included in this update:
- UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection experiencing application crash while launching is fixed.
- The issue of the computer hanging while waking up from sleep and requiring power cycling to fix temporarily is fixed permanently.
- Blender 3.6 experiencing application crash during render operations when Hardware Ray Tracing was enabled is fixed.
Apart from these noted improvements, Intel has also integrated the telemetry settings into the driver, which were once controlled separately. Therefore, you much choose the telemetry setting while installing the driver.
With these fixes, there are a few issues with this update as well.

- Intel Arc Processors:
- Shadow of The Tomb Raider may experience an application crash after loading to the game menu.
- UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection may exhibit texture corruption on characters.
- Topaz Video AI may experience errors when using some models for video enhancement.
- Adobe After Effects may experience an application crash during render operations.
- Intel Iris Xe MAX Processors:
- Driver installation may not complete successfully on certain notebook systems with both Intel Iris Xe + Iris Xe MAX devices. A system reboot and re-installation of the graphics driver may be required for successful installation.
