I want to move the installed programs and data files so that I can re format the drive and use all 2 gb. Steam mover is for teckies, but I’ll try it using your numbered steps. Thanks

If it is the same computer, the associations should not change. And it is always recommended to run programs from a fixed disk instead of a portable one.

If I use any of these methods, will all the associated files also be moved. The Excel application file seems to be just a small part of the space indicated by the Uninstall program.

The PC has limited space on C: drive, and I’d like to move Excel to thumb drive or SD drive.
